1, Physical properties: its density is 0.934 g/mL, melting point is about -93°C, boiling point is between 72-73°C. The solubility of vinyl acetate in water is 23 g/L (at 20°C), and it has a high vapour pressure.
2, Chemical use: it is an important chemical raw material, mainly used in the synthesis of vinylon, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), polyvinyl acetate resin (PVAc), polyacrylonitrile (PAN) and other derivatives.
